Happy New Year!
There are those whose place is on the front lines and those who support those on the front lines, whether those lines be overseas or right in our neighborhood. It seems that in the last few years we’ve traveled the ranks from support to front lines and back again a few times. Now we are again seeing God work through those with whom we meet. One gal was able to share the true story of Christmas with both a class of Japanese school children and with another young woman, her Japanese language partner. Since Japan tends to be resistant to the Gospel, please pray that God would continue to establish these tenuous beginnings.
Similarly several fighter pilots and their wives have approached our friends (also pilot and wife), seeking deeper friendship and asking for a Bible study while the pilots are deployed later this year.
Finally, several opportunities and choices loom before us as well regarding an off-base church and the base chapel. Would you join us in praying for God’s clear direction for our decisions and commitments as well as for His work in the pilot community here?
We wish you all the best in this new year. May it be one of deepening relationship with one another and especially with our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ!
